Who wrote the New Testament? part one (34 min)
Who wrote the New Testament? part two (36 min)
Who Wrote the New Testament is a highly educative and institive video for those who are interested to know more about the scriptures. It is highly recommended not to show this production in one sitting. We strongly advice to show part one and part two separately, or better yet, into two or three of its ten segments.
Part 1:
Segment 1: Jane Frances Angalia and students at the Catholic University discuss the question: What role did the early Church play in writing the New Testament? Whose book is it?
Segment 2: Scripture professor Fr. Hernman Hauser and four students of the Catholic University look for the answer to ow the New Testament was written and the Church's involvement in it.
Segment 3: Fr. Patrick Kinani, a professor at St. Thomas Major Seminary Nairobi explores the question: why are there twenty seven books of the New testament and who chose them?
Segment Four: Fr. Lawrence Nare, clearly explains Why so many translations of the bible throughout the ages.
Part 2 contains:
Segment Five: Seven sister catechists tackle the difficult question: What is interpretation and who has the final authority?
Segment Six: The bible in the work place, what is our response? Tells the true story of Mr. Stephen Njagi, who after being challenged becomes the challenger.
Segment Seven: What are the benefits of the bible study groups?
Segment Eight: What helps can we use to better understand the scriptures?
Segment Nine: Bishop Cornelius Eswa answers three practical questions: i) How do we begin a biblical apostolate in a our parish? ii) What can we learn from others? iii) Who should prepare our people to read the bible?
