Summary: Based on Henry van Dyke's classic. The story of the Other Wise Man. It concerns a Magi named Artaban (Martin Sheen) who studies the prophecies and witnesses in the hope that they'll lead him and his faithful servant, Orantes (Alan Arkin) to the Messiah. Artaban caries 3 precious presents to present to the Messiah. They pursue him for 33 years only to miss him and use the gifts to help people in dire need. He finally encounters the new King as he's old and dying on Easter Sunday bringing peace to his final moments.
